About Musack
Musack's mission is to give kids and teens a voice through music by providing guitars, drums, and support for music teachers - wherever the need arises. Donick Cary started Musack to combat teen suicides in his hometown of Nantucket by donating guitars to the high school... calling on what got him through the isolating winters there, music.
Musack has since become worldwide, providing instruments, grants for music teachers and field trips, and scholarships in Massachusetts, Oakland, Haiti, El Salvador, Appalachia, Los Angeles, Alaska, Native American reservations in the Southwest and South Dakota, Florida, Tennessee, and more. Musack kids have even performed with members of No Doubt, The Replacements, Moby, Fred Armisen, The Specials, Opertion Ivy, Rancid, and others at our annual Rock n' Roll Carnival fundraiser in LA.
