Musack 2025 - Photos & Updates
We’re so grateful for everything your support has allowed us to do in 2025. We have so many opportunities to to do more in 2026. Happy HÜt Uganda Orphanage
Musack provided keyboards to start a music program here! With your help, we hope to provide guitars and drums in 2026… all the way in Uganda.
New Bedford High School
Musack provided instruments to NBHS in Massachusetts when their teacher found us through one of his favorite bands, Rancid. The instruments inspired the kids so much, that they started an after-school Rock Band Program. This year, we’ve been working with the teacher to secure funding to get the first class of seniors who have gone through all four years of the program out to LA to record a song with a famous musician. Los Angeles-Fire Relief+New Program
After the horrific fires at the start of the year and with our mission to give kids & teens a voice through music, we wanted to ensure that affected youth had a creative outlet. For the first time, we took requests from individual families, in addition to schools. Thanks to instrument donations from some of you in LA along with help from Yamaha, we were able to replace instruments for 20+ families. We also replaced instruments lost by Oak Knoll Montessori in Altadena, Pasadena Waldorf, and Altadena Arts Magnet. Later in the year, we were able to add a program in Los Angeles - Citizens of the World Charter Schools!
Anidan Children’s Home -Kenya
Musack partnered with We’re Loud Africa to fund their delivery of instruments and travel for musicians running a workshop for more than 300 k-12 kids in Lamu, Kenya, 150 of which live at the children’s home. We look forward to funding more instrument drops & workshops in 2026 and beyond.
Denby High - Michigan
Another new program! We partnered with Lead Guitar to fund guitars for a brand new guitar program at this high school, our second high school we’ve supported in Michigan.
After-School Music Scholarships
For 8+ years, Musack has been providing scholarships to families who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend some of our partner music programs. We’re proud to continue providing scholarships for Three O’Clock Rock in Oakland and Kid Row in Los Angeles.
Nantucket Instruments & Musical
As you probably know by now, Musack started in Nantucket and continues to support the music programs there each year. This year, we funded the middle school’s musical and added ukuleles to the Boys & Girls Club!
Chilicothe High School-Ohio
We even added a marching band this year! We were excited to donate brass instruments to this high school, our first in Ohio!
Indigenous Media Camp & More
Musack was also thrilled to offer grants to several other programs, some of which were so recent that we don’t have photos… yet! We’ve recently started helping a high school in Colorado with instruments, and we funded the start of music lessons for Native American kids in New Mexico and South Dakota as well as a performance in Lakota Nation!
