Support Musack on Giving Tuesday
We have about one month left in 2017, and so far, we've given more guitars (and drums and banjos!) than ever this year! We've continued supporting our programs in Nantucket, LA, Compton, and Haiti with supplies, plus added banjoes to Folk School JAM in Appalachia! In the meantime, we've sent some of our supporters to Cuba with guitars and supplies, plus started supporting programs in Australia, Alaska, Native American reservations across the Southwest, Chattanooga, and soon, Tampa - where we are donating instruments lost in a school fire after Hurricane Irma. We couldn't do this without your help - and now we are asking for your help to do even more in 2018!
Here's how you can help for Giving Tuesday:
1. Donate!
We'll turn your generous contribution right into guitars or drums for underprivileged kids and teens. For $100, you buy a guitar starter pack for a kid, for $400, you buy a drumkit for a classroom. For any amount, we can get our programs strings, picks, and more supplies plus put it towards future instruments!
2. Create a Fundraiser
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is matching donations via Facebook fundraisers on Giving Tuesday this year. You can create a fundraiser with the photos and info from our website (or contact katie@musack.org for materials) and simply click here go to our Facebook page, click "Create Fundraiser" and share with your friends!
